In-Home Parties

Hosting an in-home party through Lofthouse Gardens is a great way to really get to know our products. You and your guests will have the opportunity to experience the fun of our 4 step beauty regimen, test our other products, and customize your own personalized products. There is never any pressure to buy anything. Plus, you will receive a great gift just for hosting a party!

Soap Making Demonstrations

A soap making demonstation helps you visualize the soap making process from start to finish. Depending on the size of your group, it may be hands-on as well. Each person will get a detailed information packet on soap making, a luxurious bar of soap, and a desire to learn more.

If you would like us to travel to a place of your choice to demonstrate how to make soap, it will require the following (basically - a kitchen):
  • A well ventilated area (a vent or fan hood, or a window, etc.).
  • A sink with running water, and ice (ice is optional, but speeds up the process). A double sink is preferred.
  • Heat source (stove or hot plate).
  • Easy access to an electrical outlet.
The soap demonstrated will be a basic recipe and our choice of scent. Additives may also be used. The soap received by the group members will be completely cured and ready for use.
It takes about 1/2 an hour to set up and about 1 hour to complete the demonstration.

Herb Talk

An herb talk can include: growing, harvesting, storing herbs; how to make herbal preparations; how to use herbs for beauty treatments.
  • their uses - how these herbs may be used medicinally as well as for cooking, crafts, and other uses
  • where they grow - I will try to bring a variety of plants that can be found locally - in the wild, as a weed, or in a garden
  • growing - how to grow the herbs, what they like and don't like, etc.
  • gathering or harvesting - how to gather herbs/plants from the wild and/or how to harvest plants in your garden
  • storing - long term storage options as well as how to prepare them for storage
